The Raven lounge chair

The Raven Lounge Chair is a wooden lounge chair designed for the (Prime) Chair – 12th International Industrial Design Competition, Expressive Chair category. Inspired by the Krokar virgin forest in Slovenia, the project translates the dense verticality, light, and shadow of the ancient beech woodland into a contemporary seating experience.
Crafted entirely from beech wood, its contrasting natural and dark elements evoke the rhythm of trees, branches, and the forest's quiet atmosphere. The chair was conceived as a tribute to nature, craftsmanship, and the timeless character of primaeval landscapes.
